Varsity Tutors can help those who are searching for Spokane CFA prep. Regardless of whether you are studying at Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University, or another area university, CFA prep can help you review what you learned in school. Whether you already graduated or you are still in school, you can prepare for the CFA exam. To be able to register for Level One of the CFA exam, you can be in your last year of college, have four years of work experience, or have four years of college and work experience combined. However, to register for Level Two of the CFA exam, you must already have a bachelor's degree and have passed the first level.
What topics can I learn about during Spokane CFA preparation?
The CFA exam has three different Levels. All three Levels are administered annually by the CFA Institute, in June. Level One can also be taken in December of each year. To qualify for a Level, you must have taken and passed the previous Level.
Although the curriculum of the test is updated each year, the topics remain the same. There are 10 topics in total, such as derivatives, ethics and professional standards, and equity investments.
Level One has 240 multiple-choice questions, 120 of which are administered during the morning session and 120 of which are administered during the afternoon session. All 10 topics will be covered in each session. Level Two has 120 questions, divided into 21 sets. Ten sets will be administered during the morning session, and 11 sets will be administered during the afternoon session. Level Three has eight to 12 constructed response (essay) questions and 60 multiple choice questions. The essay questions will be administered during the morning session. The multiple choice questions will be administered in the afternoon and will be divided into 11 sets.
What kind of Spokane CFA prep can I get?
You can sign up for CFA prep classes or get private mentoring. Taking a virtual Spokane CFA prep class is easy and convenient. You can attend classes from the comfort of your own home, as long as you have a working internet connection. You can also attend class from another quiet location, such as a local cafe, your school's library, or your office. Interacting with your instructor and the other students is easy when you use our video chat.
Studying in a class can give you the opportunity to collaborate with other students. You can ask them questions and answer their questions. You can join in on discussions and share insights. The teacher can monitor these discussions and provide the students with instant feedback.
You might prefer to sign up for one-on-one study sessions with a private Spokane CFA tutor. Studying with a private mentor can help you stay focused on what you are learning. You can move at a pace which you feel comfortable with and take your time to ask all your questions. If you need more time to review topics or ask questions, you can always schedule additional tutoring sessions.
Your private mentor can work with you to improve your test-taking skills. You will need to be able to work under time pressure and not spend too much time on a single question. Your mentor can give you advice such as to take your best guess when you don't know the answer to a question. You can always go back to a question if you have more time in the end. There are no penalties for incorrect answers on the CFA exam. You also need to have good writing skills, as the third level of the CFA includes essay questions.
Meeting with your private tutor on our Live Learning Platform is easy and convenient. You can feel as if you were sitting across from each other at the same table. Your mentor can use our virtual whiteboard to organize the topics you are studying. You can also request to meet your tutor at your home or another convenient location if you prefer in-person instruction.
