About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. My tutoring experience originally started when I was a sophomore in high school, volunteering as a Math and Science tutor until I graduated. In college, I was a teaching assistant for two courses, Introduction to Geological Sciences and Russia Now (State of Russia in Present Time), as well as a tutor for Calculus I, II, Multi Dimensional, Linear Algebra with Differential Equations, Physics, and Chemistry. Currently I offer tutoring in several subjects related to Math and Science, and the ones I am particularly interested in are Calculus, Physics, and Physical (Quantum) Chemistry. My teaching philosophy consists of a belief that the understanding of subjects combined with an appropriate teaching strategy could be one of the most effective ways to help students. My particular focus consists of my interest in learning styles and its application to education. Therefore, my tutoring strategy is more individualized based on learning styles. Some of my biggest interests include dance, including classical ballet and contemporary, fashion design, and writing.
