About Me

For me, those moments when students "get it" and figure out the problem or the concept they have been working to understand is magical. I enjoy helping students grow more confident and curious! I've been a science teacher at both the middle and high school levels and have taught all science subjects at one time or another. I hold a B.S. degree from Arizona State University and a masters degree in science education from Montana State University. I also hold a JD.My general philosophy is to focus on making science interesting, which means emphasizing both the practical applications and the fun. I am fairly flexible when it comes to meeting times and locations. I look forward to working with you!
