About Me

I live in Houston, TX. I am a mother of two; a five year girl and a three year boy. They are my heart, my soul and the joy of my life. I also have been teaching close to nine years formally in per - primary and primary grades total twelve years, including children care centers and daycare. Teaching formally in a charter school, I was tasked with building and writing curriculum. I also build my curriculum to each student, so every student is different, and not every student learns at the same speed. My specialty is reading and reading fluency, mainly first grade to lower grade core subjects. I have not known any other job or anything else I have wanted to do. I love teaching students not only academic skills and core subjects, but life skills. I am looking forward to meeting a family in person or online who needs my help. With this new world and schools being in and out, parents need an outlet for help. I understand not every parent is a teacher, and I understand the frustration they have trying to work and give their children the best education. Thank you for taking the time to read about me.
