About Me

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona. Currently, I am pursuing my medical degree, which has deepened my understanding of complex scientific concepts and furthered my passion for mentoring others in these areas. I am passionate about helping students because I believe education is a transformative tool that empowers individuals to achieve their goals and realize their potential. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages, from teaching science concepts to high schoolers to leading laboratory experiments and workshops for college students, which has honed my ability to adapt my teaching style to meet diverse learning needs. I tutor biology, chemistry, anatomy, and related subjects, and my favorite subject to teach is biology. I enjoy showing students how biology connects to the world around them and encouraging them to approach science with curiosity and confidence. My teaching philosophy focuses on fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.
