About Me

As a dedicated educator with a Specialist degree in Elementary Education from Mercer University, I have over 15 years of experience in both tutoring and classroom teaching. My specialties include Elementary School English, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and Orton Gillingham Reading methods, which I use to tailor my approach to each student's unique needs. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity and confidence, helping students engage with the material in a meaningful way. My passion for teaching stems from witnessing the growth and success of my students, and I strive to inspire a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling and spending time with family, friends, and my six year old daughter.
