I currently hold an EdD in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University and have over ten years experience working in Online Higher Education. My dissertation was titled, Sustainable Attitudes Amongst Management Staff at ABC University.During my undergraduate schooling, I majored in Art and was a member of the NCAA Womens soccer team. My junior year I spent the summer abroad in England and studied International Communications at Oxford University.My education also includes a Master Degree in Mass Communications from San Jose State University, and a post doctoral certificate in plant based nutrition from Cornell University. I am a certified TEFL professor and teach ESL from ages four to adult. In addition, I have taught at the high school and elementary level. I have been told by both students and supervisors that I am able to make abstract concepts fun and understandable. I am the proud mother to a seven year old boy named Jesse. After completing my undergraduate science classes, I became a Teaching Assistant for Biology and Chemistry. As a teaching assistant, I met with students on a one to one basis during office hours and helped strengthen their problem areas.After undergrad, I went to medical school and graduated with honors. During medical school I tutored and prepared students for the United States Medical License examinations. I prepared and delivered daily lectures for the internal medicine students and increased the pass rate from 65% to 90%. I completed my medical clerkships and attained my M.D. December 2014.I am committed, devoted and conscientious to everything I set my mind on and my decision to tutor reflects my lifelong desire for personal growth and education. I worked with their non-profit organization that provides aid to young and aspiring golfers and traveled to Tampa, Florida and Seoul, South Korea. After the internship ended, I returned to Columbus, Ohio and had a number of odd jobs before starting full-time at The Ohio State University. At The Ohio State University, I worked at the Office of Legal Affairs as a legal secretary/front-desk receptionist for 2 years before realizing my passion for helping children. So I decided to quit my desk job and am currently enrolled at OSU studying child psychology.I am approved to tutor Elementary and Middle school level Math, Reading, English, Study skills and Organization, ESL/ELL, ISEE-Lower Level, SSAT-Elementary Level, Korean language and Korean culture. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, my favorite subject is Korean language and culture. I love sharing and spreading my heritage with others and enjoy learning about other cultures as well.
