While I was completing my undergraduate degree, I did a 100 hour internship. This internship allowed me to work with children, assisting speech therapy sessions, in the school setting. This was a great experience and really made me realize how much I love working with people, especially children. I was also lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with special education children as well. I love working with special education children and understand their needs and desires to succeed in school. Working with people is my desire and helping them succeed is my passion. It is important that tutoring is specific to the child's needs so that it has a positive impact on their school work. I believe that education is achievable for everyone and that it is truly an accomplishment when the child reaches those educational goals.
