About Me

My name is Rich Myers and along with my log career in Information Technology I have also been a University Professor for the past 20 years. I presently teach College Mathematics and Unix Shell Programming at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Computer Concepts at Montclair State University. I have a Masters Degree in Comp Sci from FDU and a Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. I am a scout leader and a multi-sport coach with lacrosse being my specialty. While I believe academia is a serious business, I like to have fun while teaching. Somehow all my stories relate back to the problems at hand!!!
