I attended the University of California, Berkeley and graduated with Honors in 2013. My BA is in Theater and Performance Studies, though I also loved my classes on Art History and Politics. During this time, I found a deep satisfaction in mentoring students through difficult stretches of their academic lives. Some of my students in high school became life-long friends, and I have never forgotten the importance of being a supportive influence in a time of need. Though taking practice tests can be a real slog, I bring a fun and supportive atmosphere to my tutoring sessions. I want my students to remember that the real purpose of studying is to learn and to grow; if we can find a way to accomplish those goals, better test scores will follow naturally. Since graduating, I have moved to New York to pursue my dreams of being an actor. My particular specialty is in Shakespeare, and I hope to spread my love of his poetry to many others, whether through teaching or performance. In my free time, I am an avid skateboarder, guitar player, and I love to read!
