I offer test preparation for Regents, SHSAT, ACT, and AP Exams. Moreover, I offer tutoring services in psychology, math, English/social studies, essay editing, general homework support, and assistance with college application essays. I enjoy tutoring all of my subjects, but my favorite would have to be psychology, as it is my major and I am personally interested in it. I have been tutoring for the past three years and have found it extremely rewarding for both my students and myself. I am passionate about helping students because for me, there is nothing better than being interested in learning. To be able to encourage another person's education experience is an amazing thing, and the happiness a student feels when he or she has their "lightbulb moment" is profound. My teaching style is heavily personalized. It is important to establish the student's individual, unique learning style and cater the tutoring experience to his or her needs. Tutoring is a team effort, and my students and I work together to produce results and reach established goals. Outside of academia, I am a writer. I also enjoy spin class, exploring New York, and spending time with my friends.
