I am a recent University of Texas graduate.
I am a pre-medical student working on applying to medical school for the 2017 entry cycle.

About Me

My degree is in Human Biology, but I enjoy teaching all STEM related subjects. I have previous experience in tutoring privately for families. I tutored elementary and middle school aged students in a YMCA Outreach program for a year. I also worked as a Peer Mentor for the Chemistry Emerging Scholars program at the University of Texas at Austin, where I tutored 20-30 students twice weekly on freshmen general chemistry. I love working with people and really enjoy teaching others. I also will be tutoring MCAT prep for students preparing for medical school. I previously took the test in January of 2016 and self-studied. I am very committed to helping pre-medical students reach their goals.

Q&A with Jordan

The old adage goes, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for life." Students are often overwhelmed by the material they are presented with either in amount or in depth. The key to helping students is to enable them with the knowledge of how to seek tools for their success. For me, this often means showing students how to prepare for their courses through examples of exam preparation such as drills, teaching them how to explore their calculators, or even educating them on what resources exist online for them.
