About Me

Who Wants To Increase Your Understanding Of Lessons, Get Better Grades, And Ace The Test? As a graduate of Oakland University, I studied topics as diverse as the biological, psychosocial, psychological, nutritional, socio-cultural, economic, philosophical, legal, ethical, environmental, community and public health determinants of health and disease, as well as learned effective sampling methods and statistical interpretation of results. I was a teaching assistant for the anatomy and physiology cadaver lab, and have tutored other subjects such as math, reading, biology, and essay writing and proofreading. My favorite subjects to tutor are writing and proofreading because I enjoy showing people how to communicate their ideas better and more forcefully. I try to meet students where they are. I may start with a bit of review then move on to something new. I like to give students the opportunity to solve problems on their own, so they familiarize themselves with the PROCESS more than just merely deriving correct answers.
