About Me

I love one-on-one tutoring. I can help you technically with several subject areas. My expertise is in writing, public speaking, marketing and communications, French, philosophy, history, religion, education, remedial reading and curriculum and instruction courses. I have 10 years experience teaching college level English composition, grammar and creative writing for 4 colleges in Southern California where I was nominated for Teacher of the Year at FIDM. I got my Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and my Master's in Education, Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Remedial Reading. I was credentialed in 3 states, most recently in Colorado in 2017. I have also had a successful career in business serving as Director of Marketing for 8 acute care hospitals in California. I currently spend my time editing books for authors and tutoring students. Additionally, I worked in university libraries throughout my college years and therefore know how to help you find an accurately notate sources, APA and Chicago style.
