I graduated with a BS in Biochemistry from Loyola University Chicago. I have over 7 years of experience mentoring undergraduate students in organic chemistry. I have over 2 years of experience as a teaching assistant and over 5 years of experience as a research assistant in organic chemistry. I know that organic chemistry can be a tough subject to tackle, but with the right approach it is more than possible. I want my students to understand the basics of organic chemistry and the "why" behind the questions. I want to help my students map out the logic of organic chemical reactions and to understand the basic principles that guide organic reactions. With this this kind of approach students are able to develop a much more in depth understanding of chemistry and this makes it easier to approach and solve various problems in organic chemistry.
