- I've been in the American public school system in New Jersey since kindergarten so I know how it works.
- I'm also a Carnegie Mellon University chemical and biomedical engineering graduate, working in neurotechnology research!
About Me
I have taken AP exams myself when I was in high school, therefore, I can share effective and realistic test-taking tricks that actually work. I try to approach students as a peer rather than a teacher. I understand how frustrating it is to struggle in certain classes and so I believe that it is important to commend effort and encourage tenacity. I try to consistently engage my students, and make sure they don't feel uncomfortable asking questions. If a student isn't understanding a topic, I will adjust my speed of teaching and consistently check in on what parts they do understand as I reroute until a student can walk away confident. I adapt to methods and language used by the teacher to make sure understanding carries into school.
Hobbies & Interests
Recently, I've been teaching myself how to cook! And like any other student, I like to play video games and hang out with friends when I'm free!
