I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL), both conversational and written, for several years. I have worked with small groups and one-on-one with adults and children from beginner through advanced levels. I have a gentle approach to teaching and do my best to show caring and respect toward my students. I want to make them feel comfortable and feel free to make mistakes. I seek to discover the type of instruction that can benefit students the most and tailor lessons to their individual needs. I also bring with me experience outside of my 'corner of the world,' traveling abroad to Italy, where I immersed myself in its wonderful culture. I hope we will meet soon and have a great lesson!

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading by cozy wood-burning fireplaces, and gardening. I love all animals, especially cats.
