I wrote a song and created a dance to help students solve long division problems. While reading, students will play my start, stop and investigate game to improve their comprehension skills. I share my personal learning experiences with my students to encourage them and build their self-confidence. I am a recently retired certified teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students. I taught social skills, mathematics, and reading for students in grades K-5. I have a bachelor's degree in Education. I taught individual and small group instruction to students in grades K-6 who were below grade level in math and reading for over 15 years in the public school system. I have two years of experience teaching online. I have over 20 years of experience as a children's church teacher for children ages 6 to 11.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing board games, walking, cooking, and going to yard sales.
