Since graduation, I have lived in Colorado, Ohio, and now currently live outside Washington, DC. I spent over 20 years in the IT business as a programmer, project manager, software architect, and client relationship manager. After retiring from corporate life I have spent my days doing things I love to do - providing assistance and mentoring to children, adolescents, and young adults. I have taught English and Computer Applications at the middle school level and Life Skills for autistic kids. In addition to teaching in the public school system, I do private one-on-one behavior therapy with autistic children. I am a firm proponent of taking a steady and affiliative approach to education, believing it to be the most effective way of improving the quality of learning and life.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling the world, playing tennis, cooking, hiking, watching football, and spending time relaxing on the Chesapeake Bay.
