About Me

My name is Ethan, and I have a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor's in Human Centered Design from the University of Washington. I then worked as a Computer Science teaching assistant from my sophomore year through my fifth year, supporting students with programming concepts, assignments, debugging, and problem-solving. After graduating, I worked as a substitute teacher for a year, including three months as a long-term Computer Science substitute responsible for instructing and grading assignments for ~100 6th8th graders. As a substitute teacher, I primarily supported middle and high school students across core subjects. For the past two years, I have continued teaching as a Graduate TA for Computer Science courses while completing my master's degree.

Hobbies & Interests

["Most my interests are pretty nerdy! Growing up I played video games all the time. In my adult life this has translated to reading fantasy & science fiction books. Of course I still play video games","but much less frequently. \r\n\r\nMy friends frequently call me a \"renaissance man\" because of how much trivia-esque knowledge I have. I spend a lot of free time learning about history. I'm interested in some medical fields","mainly nutrition","pathology","and psychology.\r\n\r\nI also try to stay physically active. I'm very into weight lifting & I also love doing cardio with my miniature schnauzer","Walter."]
