I am passionate about helping students because I believe in the transformative power of education. I understand the struggles and frustrations that can arise when trying to understand complex concepts or juggling multiple responsibilities. This empathy drives me to support students in overcoming obstacles, providing guidance, and sharing strategies that have helped me succeed. Witnessing the growth and confidence of myself and my peers as they conquer academic hurdles fuels my dedication to serving as a mentor and resource for others on their educational journey. Throughout my college years, I've actively engaged in tutoring and mentoring roles, both informally within my peer group and formally through workplaces. These experiences have equipped me with valuable insights into the diverse learning styles and needs of students. Whether it's explaining a challenging concept in a clear and accessible manner or offering encouragement during moments of doubt, I've honed my ability to connect with students and foster an environment conducive to learning and growth. My passion for helping students extends beyond the classroom, as I've also volunteered in community outreach programs aimed at providing educational support to underserved populations, further solidifying my commitment to making a positive impact through education. I continue to pursue my education at ISU, where I am obtaining my Bachelor's Degree. Currently, I am working towards my Elementary Education degree with endorsements in reading, math, and special education. In my tutoring experiences, I offer support across a range of subjects, including Reading, Math, drawing, and more. My all-time favorite subject is reading. There's a sense of fulfillment in guiding students through these subjects, as they often align closely with my own interests and areas of expertise. By sharing my enthusiasm and deep understanding of these topics, I strive to instill a similar passion in my students, fostering a lifelong love for learning and exploration.
