My love for teaching started in my late teens. Since starting to teach in 2000 I have had the privilege of teaching all age groups from young children to grandparents all across the United States. My passion is with the younger students. I have been tutoring ESL students after school for the last three years at the private school I teach at. While I can and do tutor a wide range of subjects, I am most passionate about phonics, language, and math. I believe that fostering the love of reading early on leads to life long learners. As an educator my job is to reach my students where they are at and help them improve their skills and become stronger learners.

In my free time I love to read and spend time with my family. This last couple of years we have started golfing and kayaking as a family. I am also very passionate about gardening and furthering my education.
