As an insatiable question asker myself, I cherish the opportunity to inspire and inform other curious individuals. My goal is to help students not only learn STEM content, but to truly understand it. While earning my BS in biochemistry from Georgia Tech and my PhD in pharmacology from Emory University, I developed a true passion for science education and communication. Is "nature" a hobby? I am going to go ahead and claim that it is. I love to hike and explore local parks, photograph the wildlife around me, and raise my numerous plant babies. In addition, I am a certified personal trainer and nutritionist, a book lover, and an adventure seeker.
