- My passion for lifelong learning drives my commitment to tutoring, where I strive to ignite the same enthusiasm in my students.
About Me
With a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Finance from Northeastern University, I specialize in subjects such as Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Business Ethics. With two years of tutoring experience, I have developed a strong understanding of how important it is to create a supportive learning environment so students can excel. I have a hands-on approach, using real-world examples to connect theory with practice which enables students to achieve both academic success, and personnel enrichment. Additionally, I have over 20 years of experience as a Director of Finance in the hospitality industry, which enables me to provide practical insights, real-world experiences and relatable examples. I am dedicated to helping students navigate and appreciate the complexities of finance and accounting, fostering their growth and confidence in these critical areas.
Hobbies & Interests
My interests include travelling to different parts of the world, particularly places steeped in history or natural beauty. I have recently begun learning about and attempting to grow Bonsai, branching out from an orchid-growing hobby. Most importantly, I have a strong love for animals, particularly dogs, and I enjoy participating in dog agility training. I also have a male Betta fish and two very goofy African Dwarf Frogs.
