As a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated educator and coach, I bring over 12 years of experience and extensive training working with students of all ages. My mission has always been to empower students to recognize and express their strengths, while equipping them with realistic, effective strategies to achieve their goals. I believe that every student deserves the tools and confidence to present themselves in the best possible light, and I consider it my calling to help them discover just how capable they truly are. After earning my degree in Education from Central Michigan University, I spent six impactful years teaching middle school, where I honed my skills in math, reading, writing, grammar, standardized test preparation, and study skills. These core academic areas remain a strong foundation of my tutoring, and I work best with students grades 3 through 12. I take pride in tailoring instruction to meet individual learning needs while maintaining high expectations for growth and achievement. I understand that learning is not one-size-fits-all, and I strive to create environments where students feel safe to challenge themselves, make mistakes, and celebrate progress. I take the time to get to know my students, not just as learners, but as individuals with unique stories and potential. Outside of my professional life, I find balance and inspiration through teaching and practicing yoga, hiking, and spending quality time with my Frenchie, Gordo. These passions ground me and fuel my creativity, patience, and mindfulnessqualities that I bring into my work every day. Education is more than a career for meit's a lifelong commitment to growth, empowerment, and making a difference with the younger generations shining their light in the world. I am excited to continue this journey, helping students shine not just academically, but as confident, capable individuals prepared to thrive in every aspect of their lives.
