Hello! My name is Mrs. From Arlington Virginia raised in Charlotte North Carolina. Currently located in Charlotte, NC. In my free time I like to travel with my husband who is from Brazil. I am trilingual; I do speak English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. My educational philosophical beliefs include equal opportunity for all by creating unity and forming positive relationships. My college professor would say if we can't reach them we can't teach them. On a daily basis, it is important for me as an educator to reach and meet all my students' needs by promoting a diverse, collaborative and sound environment. We all come from diverse backgrounds and have had to overcome any obstacle faced on a daily basis to proceed. As we move above and beyond, we encounter many different challenges; challenges we may not be able to overcome, without an equal opportunity. I am certified with a Masters degree in Education concentrations Science and Social Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte 2017 and a Masters of Architecture from Kean University 2023. I have a demonstrated history of working in the secondary 6-12 and adult higher education industry since 2013. In addition to teaching, I do freelance Architectural Designer and Real Estate with Property Management experience since 2010. Have been recognized with several publications and awards: as instructor of the year of 2018 and nominated again in 2024.
