I hold a B.A. in Political Science, History and Philosophy of Law from Hofstra University and am pursuing a Master of Public Administration at New York University. I tutor subjects including writing, history, political science, and test preparation. I have tutored students from various backgrounds and with varying interests and strengths. My students exceed their goals and improve their scores, knowledge, and skills in measurable ways. Outside of academics, I enjoy researching local history, writing, and volunteering in community service and civic engagement projects. These interests continually remind me that learning is most powerful when it connects to real lives and real communities, an idea I bring into every tutoring session.
