About Me

My passion is rooted in writing education, specifically for high school juniors and seniors as well as first-year college students. My teaching philosophy is student-centered and encourages student writers to focus on what makes their writing unique to them. Working one-on-one with students, we search for the "why" in writing assignments and try to understand the purpose of instruction, both in and out of school. This understanding improves comprehension skills and overall writing habits.
