My name is Margaret Kanipe, and I have spent the past nine years working in education, with a deep passion for supporting young learners in kindergarten. My journey began as a teacher assistant, where I discovered how meaningful it is to help children build confidence, develop skills, and feel successful in the classroom. It is where they learn not only how to read and write, but also how to believe in themselves. I am trained in the Science of Reading and the AMC Math program, and I use these research-based approaches to provide strong, structured instruction in literacy and math. My goal is to ensure that every child builds a solid foundation while also feeling supported and encouraged every step of the way. What matters most to me is creating a warm, safe, and loving environment where children feel comfortable taking risks and growing as learners. I focus on building strong relationships with my students because I know that when children feel seen, valued, and understood, they thrive. I also value communication with families and believe that working together is key to a child's success. Teaching is more than just a career for meit is truly my calling. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and staying creative. I love hiking and spending time in nature, which helps me relax and recharge. I also enjoy painting, as it allows me to express creativity and unwind. Additionally, I like practicing archery (bow and arrow), which has taught me focus, patience, and precision.
