I have worked in the behavior field for 20 years and have taught emotional support for 15 years. The most important thing to me is that my students feel valued and loved when they come to school. Personally, I find that they work harder and put effort in when they feel respected and have someone to listen to them.

I enjoy hiking and spending time with my two rescue dogs (both pitbull/pitbull mixes). I am an avid reader. Once I start a book I can't put it down. I have recently gotten into crocheting and embroidery. I love crafty things and am always doing some sort of home renovation project.
