About Me

I recently received my undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rice University. A Teaneck, NJ native, I have come to truly love Houston and all it has to offer. Although, I have completed coursework in a wide array of subjects, math is the subject in which I excel. I have tutored students in mathematics coursework from Arithmetic all the way up to Calculus 2. My students have ranged from ages 6 to 20, encompassing students from 1st grade all the way up to sophomores in college. Simply put, I work well with all ages, grades, and backgrounds. I can help you whether you’re trying to improve grades or understanding, regain some knowledge, or preparing for a standardized exam. With every student I tutor in mathematics, my goal is to not only improve their knowledge of the subject, but to also improve their confidence in knowing when they’ve found the correct answer. Math can be fun and easy to understand when the lesson is tailored for the particular student. I enjoy reading, listening to all kinds of music, cooking and all kinds of extreme activities like biking, hiking, rock climbing, and sky diving.
