I started tutoring ninth-grade Biology when I was in tenth grade, continued with elementary school children in Reading, Math and Science, and most recently I tutored high school students in Boston in Chemistry, Pre-calculus and Algebra. I have always loved math and science. I tend to think of complex scientific concepts in words that I can actually understand, and many of my pupils tell me that I explain them better than their teachers, which is why I am so passionate about tutoring. I am currently applying to medical school, and a friend of mine asked me to help him prepare for the MCAT after he learned my score, and his practice scores have increased as a result. I am also a trained and certified EMT working in the greater Boston area. In my free time I train for my next marathon, play soccer and read.
