After graduating from undergrad in California I came to Austin and in the two years I have been here I have started a professional acting career in films, plays, commercials and other fun arenas. I love teaching and learning in just about any subject but I am most fond of languages, literature History - there's just so much humanity and adventure and passion and awesomeness and...we'll you catch my drift :) I have taught and tutored children as young as 5 up through college aged folk as well. Like them, I think that the keys to unlocking the most fruitful learning experiences are: Patience, Passion and Listening - on the both the part of the student and the instructor. The interdisciplinary nature of acting is something that carries over into my tutoring so if we are studying Spanish there is good chance music will make it into our lessons OR if we are looking at History food, culture or travel may well be part of what we look at, etcetera. When I run into free time I love to play classical guitar, listen to music, watch a play/film/TV program or write songs.
