About Me

I am a New York State teacher certified in Elementary Education, Spanish and ESL. I received my Bachelor's degree from State University of New York, Cortland, and my Master's degree from Adelphi University. I have been teaching and tutoring for over 8 years for children, adolescents and adults. Besides being bilingual in Spanish, I am also conversational in Italian. I love to travel and learn about other cultures. I even had the unique opportunity to study abroad in Venezuela. I enjoy helping students achieve their best and have fun in the process. I have always believed in making lessons interesting. I have achieved this by using games, songs and manipulatives to enhance instruction. In my free time, I like to read, spend time with my dog and do yoga.
