About Me
I graduated Harvard in May 2012. I received an A.B. in History--my studies were all over the place geographically and temporally, but I did the most work in medieval Europe and the Near East. I also tutored my fellow history undergrads at Harvard, and juvenile offenders in Boston, so I've seen a fairly wide range of students. I can and do tutor a very broad range of subjects, but I'm happiest tutoring history, the GRE, and the SAT--the first because I've loved it since I could read, and the latter two because I think they are highly solvable and I want to make sure students get a chance to learn how to solve them. I'm a firm believer in tutoring in the style of a conversation. Obviously I'm imparting knowledge, but I don't want to lecture and I don't want to be boring, so I try to make it as natural as possible--which does mean I make my fair share of jokes. In my spare time, I'm a huge sports fan (of the Red Sox, Celtics, Broncos, and Canadiens, in that order), an avid PC gamer, a decent squash player, and a baritone.
