At Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, in China, I was a merit student with experience leading my student council and the university's orchestra. In Philadelphia, I earned my Master of Journalism degree at Temple University. I owe my knowledge to the great Teachers and entrepreneurs of American journalism and to those whom I interviewed, observed and documented. Now I want to pass my knowledge and experience on to my students. I am at the border of worlds, between China and America, between traditional journalism and new media, and between the growing-up and the grown-ups. I can teach Chinese language and communication skills to anyone who is interested. I can also prepare students for harder challenges such as the GRE.My philosophy for teaching Chinese focuses on communication. A lesson in Chinese should help you not only know more about the language, but also widen your horizons. I'd like to help students to master enough skill to generate communicable contents so that people can understand them and be impressed. You can learn how to start a conversation, write something powerful, making an encouraging speech, or even produce a multimedia project.
