I feel as though my varied experiences in different areas of secondary education, my background in and passion for effective instructional strategies, and my work in the school community have provided me with a strong foundation to tutor and mentor young individuals. At the same time I received a second degree in Secondary Education. Directly out of college I started teaching at Wissahickon High School. Over the past 10 years I have taught numerous courses, including European History, US History, World History, and Political Science. I have taught all levels of those courses. In that time I have also taken a strong passion for the writing process and mentor a lot of students outside of my class with their writing and analytic skills. Since teaching at Wissahickon, I have obtained two Master's degrees. One in Instructional and Developmental Strategies from Wilkes University, and a second in K-12 Educational Administration. Over the past few years I have tutored students from other public and private schools in Political Science, Economics, and AP US History.

Beyond education I have been an Assistant Varsity Football Coach for 10 years. I also mentor young athletes year-long in order to develop them as individuals and better citizens.
