About Me
I am a teacher and a mother, and between the two callings, I am an experienced therapist, nurse, cook, negotiator, conflict resolution expert, and patient instructor among other talents. I am patient, intelligent, creative, and caring. Aside from my vast Pre-K teaching experience, I have years of substitute teaching experience, tutoring experience, and have even assisted individuals in passing their U.S. Citizenship/Naturalization Tests. I have taught thousands of people, from age 3 to age 30! The fact that I am trilingual (English, Spanish, German) has come in very handy over the years. Throughout my life I have possessed the ability to be a mentor, friend, protector and teacher of children. I understand and respect the importance of family; after all, we hold the same values and goals! I hold a B.A. in Psychology and English from Drew University in Madison, N.J. and a Standard Teaching Certification from St. Peter's College in Jersey City, N.J. I have also taken various courses at the University of California (Berkeley) and Mills College in Oakland, California. Throughout the years I have attended numerous workshops and seminars addressing a multitude of topics and their implementation. I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, nature, and cooking.
