About Me
I am planning on obtaining a BS in Integrative Neuroscience upon graduation and continuing onto medical school or graduate school for Neuropharmacology. I have also tutored college students in general Chemistry. I love tutoring pretty much any type of high school math as I find math fun in general. I particularly like tutoring Algebra and Trigonometry best because I enjoy analyzing different types of functions and how to manipulate them. In addition, I also have a passion for Biology and Chemistry and after taking Organic Chemistry, my appreciation for these subjects has grown immensely. I have had not as much experience tutoring in science as I have had in math, but I welcome the opportunity to be able to tutor new students in the subjects I love. When tutoring students, I like to take a problem solving based approach as I find that this is the best way for students to be exposed to and understand new material. I like to break concepts down so that my students really understand what is going on instead of simply memorizing facts. Outside of academics, I enjoy running, lifting weights, cooking, and reading medical/psychology articles as well as graphic novels.
