During my college years, I worked for Meiko Gijuku in Tokyo to teach elementary and high school students as a tutor in various subjects, such as math, English, and Japanese. After the graduation, I continue to study English and attended the ESL courses at the EF International Language School in Olympia, WA for one academic year. I volunteered to teach Japanese to local people for cultural exchange. Since then I acquired a enough GRE score to go to a graduate school in the USA. I received a Master of Science in Social Responsibility from St.Cloud State University in St. Cloud Minnesota in 2003. I also completed one year of graduate works in the East Asian Studies department. I studied through a mail corresponding course in teaching Japanese. I have lived in the USA for over 14 years and can speak English and Japanese fluently. I tutor Japanese Language. Helping English speakers to understand Japanese language and culture has been very fun and rewarding experiences because it helps to me understand further about the cultural differences and similarities through understanding these different language systems. For hobbies, I like painting, guitar, and taking my two big Akita dogs to the beautiful parks in Colorado.
