California is my home and birthplace, but I have lived in various areas in the USA and one-year abroad in Spain. I have taught all grade levels from pre-school to community college. I have tutored math, reading, phonics, social science, test prep, study skills, and Conversational Spanish as well. My passion is teaching, and what is unique about this profession is the opportunity to meet and get to know students from all around the country and being able to offer individualized assistance for each and every one. I guide students toward discovery which enables students to internalize the learning. The fulfillment I receive for my profession is seeing others blossom. I believe everyone has an innate intelligence, curiosity, and creativity. I'm an animal rights advocate. I love all animals and have been an equestrian my whole life. Also, I played competitive tennis in high school and college.
