My name is Edward. I have a Master In Education from Texas A and M College Station and currently teach 5th grade in New Orleans, LA. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 4th and 5th grade in a general education classroom and in a dual-language setting. I am fluent in Spanish and have experience teaching ELL students. I have tutored for Math courses as high as Pre-Calculus. I love teaching Math, Essay writing, and Reading. Those are the core subjects, I know, but I truly have a passion for teaching and seeing individual growth in those I help tutor. I understand that everyone learns differently and look forward to helping you achieve your goals by differentiating my instruction so that you can feel comfortable and positive about the learning experience.

I enjoy bicycling on my time off and reading poetry. I also enjoy spending time with my family (including two dogs and three cats).
