I received my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Art and Art History from Lafayette College in 2006. Following graduation, I worked as a Civil Engineer based in Philadelphia, PA and was certified as a Professional Engineer in 2011. After five years in the work force, I returned to graduate school to complete my Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. I also teach as an adjunct professor at Philadelphia University in the Landscape Architecture program. Through Varsity Tutors, I tutor many subjects related to engineering, math, science, art, ecology, and the environment. I love to work with students on strategies to learn math and geometry, particularly focusing on strategies that involve physical and visual learning. I am an active and hardworking individual who loves working with others to solve problems, which directly translates in my approach to tutoring. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors (running, biking, hiking, gardening) and playing with my dog and cat.
