I have worked as a tutor for a number of years with students in various subjects and educational levels. While I was in graduate school, in addition to working as a teaching assistant in statistics classes, I tutored students in undergraduate and graduate statistics courses. As a former elementary school teacher, I also worked with students at the elementary/middle school level in English language arts and math. I began my professional career as an elementary school tutor in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. I loved teaching all subjects, but my favorites were writing and math. I currently work as a researcher studying problems related to medical education and medical workforce development. I have a BA from Emory University in pyschology, a master's in elementary education from American University and a PhD from Teachers College, Columbia University in measurement, evaluation and statistics.
