I still remember of my former tutors fondly, and it is likely that without their aid at critical points in my development, I would not have gone on to enjoy creative writing, my chosen vocation. I take a measured and personalized approach to tutoring, drawing upon experiences gained while teaching special education, coaching and my own journey from struggling student to gaining my MFA.

I'm a fanatic for historiography, mythology and editing. I edit for a small local press and beta read for another. When I'm not doing that, I can be found yelling at 'historical' blockbusters for any number of easily preventable errors, standing on my head, or working on my own ecological fantasy novel.
