Currently an ESL night class instructor for adults, I've been tutoring and teaching since 2013, when I graduated from Bard College with a BA in Written Arts and Spanish. While in Spain, I also provided private writing and essay-prep classes to students of all ages, including adults. In addition, I have three years of experience as an academic support teacher at a middle/high school in Western Massachusetts. This position entailed helping students with homework in all the subjects, particularly reading, writing (including college essay writing), and Spanish. Although I do enjoy classroom teaching, I love tutoring because working one-on-one with students lets me get to know them personally and tailor lessons to their interests.
