I am a graduate of the University of Houston-Downtown with a degree in English. I previously did volunteer work at a local literacy literacy center where I gained experience teaching Adult Basic Education (ABE) with a focus on reading and writing. It is my desire to pass the awesome opportunity of reading on to someone in the hopes that they would someday do the same for another person. I enjoy doing yoga, writing, dancing, and improving the lives of those around me.

I enjoy reading novels, empowerment books, and faith-based books. I enjoy writing short stories, plays, and poetry. I enjoy learning and doing research on various subject matter as I am a firm believer of the mantra "knowledge is power."
