About Me

Hi, I'm Amanda! I am currently an adjunct mathematics professor at Southern Connecticut State University, where I've been teaching since 2021. I hold both a bachelor's and master's degree in mathematics, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on applied mathematics. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in their mathematical abilities and develop a deeper understanding of concepts, whether they're encountering them for the first time or strengthening existing skills. My teaching approach emphasizes clarity, patience, and real-world connectionsespecially highlighting how math applies beyond the classroom. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can truly grow in their problem-solving skills.
