Most of my tutoring experience comes from high school where I tutored for the National Honors Society and private students. I tutored Algebra I+II, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics. I took a year of pre-med coursework at Rice so I have experience with college-level STEM courses as well. I took many music history classes during my music degree and feel very comfortable revising essays and writing research papers. I also have experience teaching musical instruments, so I think this carries nicely into tutoring. I am currently a graduate student at the Juilliard School in New York where I am pursuing a Masters in orchestral conducting. This degree program has provided me with people skills, working in teams, teaching experience, and great study habits for intense environments. I think this experience, although not related to the standard academic subjects, will carry with me in my tutoring for Varsity Tutors! I continue a personal hobby of studying math.

All things music! I studied music composition as an undergrad and continue to play violin, viola, and piano. My specialty is classical music but I love exploring all genres. I also love the outdoors, cooking, and Ultimate Frisbee.
