As a math student, I have seen the value of mathematics as a tool for problem solving. It sharpens our minds to understand multiple ways to arrive at a solution. It helps us to think through a system logically and efficiently. It challenges us and strengthens our thought processes. I am searching for new opportunities to help students excel at problem solving, particularly in mathematics, to develop a passion for problem solving, or maybe just to learn something new and fun about math.
